Kulmking
A hostile forest spirit of Estonian tradition, the kulmking (linked to Estonian 'külm', cold) is a malevolent being of the woods, bogs and remote wilds, dreaded more than the neutral forest guardians of Estonian nature belief and associated with the unholy dead. It is said to waylay travelers who enter its territory.
