Kumasi Ghost
Not independently attested in folklore literature. No Ashanti (Asante) source documents a 'Kumasi Ghost' as a royal-court messenger spirit; the description is generic ancestor-belief applied to an invented figure. Akan tradition does recognize spirits of the dead such as the saman and the restless atofo, but no attested 'Kumasi Ghost' corresponds to this entry.
