Kumiho
The Kumiho is a nine-tailed fox from Korean folklore, a powerful and complex supernatural being that shares characteristics with the Japanese kitsune and Chinese huli jing but possesses distinctively Korean attributes. Unlike its Japanese counterpart, the kumiho is almost always a malevolent or tragic figure, a cursed being that must consume human hearts or life essence to survive or to achieve its goal of becoming fully human. The kumiho is typically depicted as a beautiful woman who uses her appearance to seduce men, but unlike the playful or benevolent fox spirits of other traditions, the K
