Kwanokasha
Kwanokasha is one of the Kowi Anukasha, the little people of Choctaw tradition, small cave-dwelling spirits beneath large rocks. He seizes boys who wander off and brings them before three ancient white-haired beings who offer a knife, herbs, and pebbles; the choice foretells a life as warrior, doctor, or one without power. He grants medicine gifts to the respectful but is dangerous to others.
