Lạc Long Quân
Lạc Long Quân, the 'Dragon Lord of Lac,' is the divine ancestor of the Vietnamese people in the national foundation myth recorded in the Lĩnh Nam chích quái. A dragon prince of the sea, he wed the fairy Âu Cơ, who bore a hundred sons: half followed him to the waters, while half followed their mother into the mountains and became the Hùng Kings.
