Lagahoo
Lagahoo is a shapeshifter from Tobago mythology. Similar to its counterparts in Trinidad and Grenada, the Tobagonian Lagahoo is considered a malevolent spirit that roams the island after dark, embodying the fears and beliefs brought by enslaved Africans and blended with European colonial influences. The creature is a prominent figure in Tobagonian oral tradition, used to warn children and young adults about the dangers of staying out late.
