Latawiec
Latawiec (also latawy) is a Polish wind spirit or storm demon, sometimes appearing as a fiery serpent or dragon that flies by night and brings storms, hail, and whirlwinds. In Polish folk belief he can be raised by a sorcerer who keeps him as a familiar, and the same name is given to the kite, the toy that shares his flight.
