Leshy
Leshy is the tutelary forest spirit of East Slavic folklore, a shape-shifting guardian of the woods who leads travelers astray, changes his height, and can be befriended with offerings of bread and salt. He speaks with the rustle of leaves and roams with wolves and bears, and hunters address him with respect to avoid his mischief.
