Lesovik
Lesovik (lisovyk) is the Ukrainian variant of the East Slavic forest spirit, a wild old man who guards the woods and their animals. Like the Russian leshy he can change size, herd elk and deer, and lead the unwary in circles, but he also rewards those who treat the forest with respect, protecting hunters who follow his rules.
