Lindorm
Lindormen is a giant serpentine dragon in Danish folklore, living under churches, in burial mounds, and in lakes. The most famous Danish Lindorm legend comes from Hvalsø Church in Sjælland, where a Lindorm once coiled itself around the entire church, preventing anyone from entering. The beast was defeated by a special bull raised on milk and hazelnuts — the bull charged and disemboweled the Lindorm in a ravine that is still called 'Tyvedskløften' (Bull's Gully).
