Ljungrå
The Ljungrå is a specialized forest spirit inhabiting the vast, purple heather-moors (ljunghedar) of Sweden. She is a variant of the Skogsrå but more attuned to the open landscapes than the dense pines. The Ljungrå is known for her melancholic nature and her tendency to lead travelers astray by mimicking the voices of loved ones. She is the protector of the heather and the small creatures that dwell within it, and she is known to be fiercely protective of the moorland's silence, punishing those who bring noise and chaos into her domain
