Lobisomem
The lobisomem is the Portuguese werewolf, a person cursed to run out a fado (spell) at night as an animal — in the north a horse, in the south a donkey, dog, or pig. Seventh consecutive sons, children of incest, and the unbaptized were destined for the curse, broken only by drawing the werewolf's blood with steel. The belief is documented in Portugal and carried to Brazil.
