Loogaroo
Loogaroo (Lougarou, Ligaroo, Lagahoo) is a Caribbean skin-shedding vampire derived from French 'loup-garou' (werewolf). By day a reclusive woman; by night she sheds her skin (hidden under a silk cotton tree), becomes a fireball, and flies to suck blood to fulfill a pact with the Devil (Bazil). Salt in the mortar destroys her.
