Lotan
Lotan is a seven-headed sea serpent from Canaanite-Phoenician mythology, serving as the servant and animal manifestation of the sea god Yamm. He is one of the most directly identifiable mythical creatures to have survived from ancient Near Eastern mythology into the Hebrew Bible, where he appears as Leviathan. The name Lotan is linguistically identical to the Hebrew Leviathan.
