Mô-sîn-á
Mô-sîn-á (魔神仔), also romanized mo-sin-a or mosina, are small, hairy, nimble spirits of Taiwanese folklore, pictured as child- or monkey-like beings in mountains, forests, and wild country across the island's ethnic groups. They lead travelers astray, daze victims with illusions, and feed them filth disguised as food; remedies include shouting the lost person's name and making loud noises.
