Malina
Malina is the Sun goddess of Greenlandic Inuit tradition, sister of Aningaat the Moon. Fleeing her brother's pursuit after he wronged her, she cast seal-oil and soot into his face as she rose into the sky; she became the sun and he the moon, and he still chases her, his face darkened, so that the waxing moon and the racing seasons repeat their flight.
