Manco Cápac
Manco Cápac (Manqu Qhapaq) is the legendary founder and first Sapa Inca of Cusco (c. 1200 CE). In the Ayar brothers legend, he emerges from Paqariq Tampu with a golden staff, disposes of his brothers, and founds Cusco. In the Inti legend, he is the son of Sun god Inti and Moon goddess Mama Killa, sent from Lake Titicaca to bring civilization.
