Mangadhai
Mangadhai are the monstrous giants of the Mongolian steppe, destructive ogre-beings of superhuman strength and size who oppose the epic heroes. In tradition they can be countered through wit, strategic traps, and elders' knowledge. Mangadhai is essentially the same figure as the multi-headed mangas of Mongol epic (see mangus-mongol), sharing its hidden, external vulnerability.
