Masmasalanicw (Four Carpenters)
Masmasalanicw, the Four Carpenters, are the winged creators of Nuxalk (Bella Coola) tradition who worked in the House of Smayusta at the beginning of time. Led by the eldest, Yulm, they assisted the Creator Alhkw'ntam in fashioning the world; Yulm made Raven from a lump of charcoal, and each carpenter brought a special craft.
