Mayohiga
Mayohiga (迷い家) is a phantom house of Japanese mountain folklore, recorded in Yanagita Kunio's 1910 Tōno Monogatari. It appears at dusk on remote paths and in deep valleys; those who enter may take food or goods, and some return wealthy, while others who stay too long are never seen again. It is a supernatural dwelling tied to mountain spirits rather than a permanent place.
