Mboreví
Mboreví (Mborevi) are miniature forest-dwelling nature spirits in Guaraní tradition (Paraguay, NE Argentina, S Brazil). Described as small protective people who guard the forest and its creatures. They punish those who harm nature and can be appeased with offerings. Closely related to Pombero and Kurupi in the Guaraní spirit complex. Documented by Cadogan and Guaraní ethnographers.
