Mermaids of Black Rocks
The Mermaids of Black Rocks are vengeful mermaids said to inhabit the volcanic Black Rocks on the northeastern coast of Saint Kitts. They lure sailors with enchanting songs to drag them to watery graves. A localized Caribbean mermaid belief warning of sea dangers; the rock formation itself is a real landmark. May protect the island in some tellings.
