Moán
Moán is a Colombian forest spirit of the Pacific/Chocó and Amazon regions who protects wildlife and punishes hunters who break taboos. He appears as an old man or animal (tapir, peccary) and tests humans' ethics. Documented in Chocó and Andean-Amazonian folklore as a conservation-enforcing spirit.
