Monster Slayer
Monster Slayer (Naayéé' Neizghání) is the elder of the Navajo Hero Twins, sons of Changing Woman and the Sun. Armed by his father with flint armor and lightning arrows, he and his brother Born-for-Water slew the Anayé, the unnatural monsters that were killing the Diné, among them the giant Yé'iitsoh, making the world safe for the People. He remains a model of courage for young Navajo today.
