Moose Deity of Ute
Not independently attested as a deity of Ute folklore. No source records a moose god among the Ute of the Great Basin and Colorado Plateau, whose traditions center on Sinawav, the wolf creator-culture hero, and his brother Coyote. Moose are marginal in Ute territory. The traits recorded appear to derive from modern speculation.
