Moose Ghost of Navajo
Not independently attested as a ghost of Navajo folklore. Moose are not native to traditional Diné territory, and no source records a moose ghost. Navajo tradition instead tells of the chindi, the lingering ghost of a dead person that can bring illness and requires ritual avoidance and proper burial. The traits recorded appear to derive from modern speculation.
