Moose Nature-Spirit of Shoshone
Not independently attested as a nature-spirit of Shoshone folklore. No source records a moose spirit among the Shoshone of the Great Basin, whose traditions tell of Wolf and Coyote, the creators, and of the dangerous water babies (nu:numbi) of springs and lakes. The traits recorded appear to derive from modern speculation.
