Moose Water-Spirit of Cherokee
Not independently attested as a water-spirit of Cherokee folklore. Cherokee waters belong to beings such as the Uktena, the great horned serpent, the Long Man of the rivers, and the underground panthers of Mooney's tales. No moose water-spirit appears in any source. The traits recorded appear to derive from modern speculation.
