Moose Ancestor-Spirit of Blackfoot
Not independently attested as an ancestor-spirit of Blackfoot (Siksika) folklore. No source records a moose guardian 'of the cliffs' in Blackfoot tradition, whose religious life centers on Napi (Old Man), the Sun Dance and sacred bundles. Moose were scarce on the northern plains and no such ancestor-spirit appears in ethnographic records; the traits appear derived from speculation.
