Moose Giant of Ojibwe
Not independently attested as a giant of Ojibwe folklore. No source records a 'moose giant guarding the mountains' in Ojibwe (Anishinaabe) tradition. The giant-moose tale belongs instead to Wabanaki peoples (Gluskabe's monster moose); among the Ojibwe the moose is a clan animal and symbol of endurance and survival. The traits recorded appear to derive from modern speculation.
