Moose Giant of Ojibwe
Not independently attested as a giant of Ojibwe folklore. No source records a 'moose giant guarding the mountains' in Ojibwe tradition. The closest real figure is the giant Moose of Wabanaki legend, slain by the culture hero Gluskabe; among the Ojibwe the moose (mooz) is a clan animal and symbol of endurance, one of the miigis. The recorded traits appear derived from speculation.
