Not independently attested as a water-spirit of Blackfoot folklore. No source records a moose water-spirit among the Siksika; Blackfoot traditions of springs, water and underground beings concern medicine power and the sacred beaver bundle, not moose. The traits recorded appear to derive from modern speculation.
