Mora
Mora is a Serbian nocturnal spirit, often female, believed to press on the chest of sleeping people and cause nightmares and sleep paralysis. She may appear as a butterfly, moth, or shadow and can be driven off with a knife, a lamp, or by turning one's pillow; similar mara figures appear across the Balkans.
