Morning Star is a powerful male warrior god in Pawnee mythology, the first being created by Tirawa. Placed in the East, he was commanded to overcome the Evening Star in the West, who resisted the divine plan to create humankind. Morning Star fought and conquered forces in the western sky with his fireball to mate with her, producing the first human. He is associated with warfare, sacrifice, and cosmic order.
