Moso
A giant from Samoan mythology who was among the first humans created by Tagaloa on the island of Savai'i. Moso was of such enormous size that he could step from one island to another. His footprint, pressed deep into solid lava rock at the village of Salelologa on Savai'i, remains a sacred site. According to legend, Moso used his foot to push the island of Upolu away from Savai'i, creating the Apolima Strait between them.
