Na'pi (Old Man) is the primary culture hero, creator figure, and trickster of Blackfoot mythology. Created by Apistotoke as the first man and demigod, Na'pi shaped the world using mud brought by Turtle during a great flood. He created humans from clay, taught the Blackfoot which plants to eat and animals to hunt, and introduced buffalo.
