Nara Ga

serpent · Sri Lanka · South Asia

Not independently attested in Sri Lankan tradition as 'Nara Ga'. The name appears to be a garbled transliteration of 'naga' (serpent) or 'nakra' (crocodile). Sri Lankan folklore includes crocodile spirits (kimbula deviyo) and naga traditions from Hindu-Buddhist influence, but no distinct entity called 'Nara Ga'.
