Nareau
Nareau ('the spider') is the creator god of I-Kiribati cosmology, who emerged in the celestial void and wove order out of chaos, separating the sky from the sea and shaping the first islands. With the aid of beings he created, including the octopus Na Kika, he gave form to the Pacific world. Credited with omniscience, he is the architect of the Kiribati cosmos.
