Nişançı
Not independently attested in Turkish folklore under this name. Nisanci is described as a giant, fifteen to twenty feet tall with a long beard, who works at night shaping the hills and rock fields of Anatolia and hurls boulders at mockers. The tale echoes genuine Anatolian giant lore and the Ottoman court office of nisanci, but no documented folk being bears this name.
