Nikommo
Nikommo belongs to the little people of Wampanoag tradition rather than to the giants. The attested Wampanoag giants are Maushop and his sons, whose struggles with the dangerous little people of the dawnland are told along the Massachusetts coast. Nikommo is better understood as one of those small, capricious forest beings, akin to the pukwudgies of neighboring Algonquian nations.
