Nsenga
Nsenga is a Congolese shapeshifter guardian taking forms of lion, leopard, python, or human with animal features — its eyes always remain wise and ancient. It protects sacred locations, tests human intentions, and can be helpful or dangerous depending on treatment. Representing ancestral spirits and nature guardians in Bantu tradition, it appears as a lion to defend sacred places or as a hunter.
