Not independently attested as a West African creature. Ntsomi is Xhosa (South Africa) women's solo performance art combining storytelling, dance, and song with props — not a monster or forest spirit. Documented by Harold Scheub ('The Xhosa Ntsomi'). The record misattributes a South African performance tradition to West Africa as a creature.
