Nugu
Not independently attested in documented Solomon Islands folklore or academic sources. No dedicated source confirms a dwarf or forest people called Nugu who lead travelers astray or mine and craft in the forests. The recorded traits resemble the better-attested Kakamora dwarf-people of Makira, and 'Nugu' may be a conflation of that tradition.
