Nyurgun Bootur
Nyurgun Bootur, 'the Swift,' is the foremost hero of the Sakha (Yakut) epic cycle, the olonkho. A champion of the Middle World, he battles the hostile abaahy demons to defend his people and restore balance to the cosmos, aided by his swift steed and weapons forged by heavenly smiths.
