Obambo
Obambo (Obambou) is a supernatural being of the Baka and other Central African tribes. It possesses the sick, residing in their bowels until driven out by communal noise-making — singing, dancing, yelling, banging objects. The M'pongwe believed some are born with Obambo, causing innate insanity.
