Odin
Odin (Odinn), the Allfather, is the highest god of Norse mythology — lord of wisdom, poetry, war, and the dead. He gave one eye to Mimir's well for wisdom and hanged nine nights on Yggdrasil to win the runes. He rides the eight-legged Sleipnir with his ravens Huginn and Muninn, and receives half the battle-slain into Valhalla. He was widely venerated across Norway as chief of the Aesir.
