Olodumare is the Supreme Being and ultimate creator in Yoruba religion. Also known as Olorun (Owner of Heaven), Olodumare is the source of all existence, the giver of ase (divine authority), and the architect of the universe. Too vast and transcendent for direct human worship, Olodumare has no shrines, priests, or sacrifices — instead communicating through the orishas who serve as intermediaries.
