Oshun
Yoruba river goddess of love, beauty, and fresh water. In Cuban Santeria, syncretized as Ochun (or Oxum in Brazilian Candomble), she is identified with the Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre (Our Lady of Charity), Cuba patron saint. As the most beloved orisha in the Caribbean, she governs rivers, honey, gold, sensuality, and dance. Her devotees wear yellow and amber, and she is renowned for her joyful, flirtatious, yet fiercely protective nature.
