Owl Deity (Guarani)
No owl deity exists in Guarani religion, and the Guarani are a South American people of Paraguay, Brazil, and Argentina, not of the United States. Guarani and Paraguayan folklore instead cast the great horned owl (ñacurutú) as an evil bird of ill omen and the urutau as a spirit bird; no owl is worshipped or made a god.
