Owl Guardian of Tlingit
No owl guardian spirit is attested in Tlingit tradition. The Tlingit tell of the Kîksa'dî woman turned into an owl whose cry announces bad weather and bad news; elsewhere owls are linked to death omens and shamanic spirits. None of this amounts to a guardian owl, and the river-guardian framing is a template artifact.
